Petaling Jaya, often known as PJ, is a city in Selangor, Malaysia, with a diverse range of sights and experiences that make it well worth a visit. Petaling Jaya is one of Malaysia's most industrialised and rich cities. Food, rubber, and wood processing are among the local industries. Addresses in PJ are astonishingly bureaucratic. To add to the confusion, the town is split into numbered parts (seksyen), which are indicated with merely S (eastern PJ), SS (central and western), PJU (northern), and PJS (southern). Damansara is another name for the northern section. Petaling Jaya swiftly rose to prominence as Selangor's most wealthy municipality.
